Designed to evoke an organically grown town center, the asymmetrical facade is achieved by modifying the exterior wall while retaining standardized unit plans.

The new Memory Care wing “neighborhood” concept entices residents to leave their units and engage with others in the common areas with a healing garden for therapeutic use.

Constrained by the existing exterior walls, maximizing area allowed for a more efficient floor plan allowing for staff to be more productive. Long dead end corridors were broken up with destination features enlivening the experience with a secure sequence of spaces.

Designed to maximize living area on a tight 4,200 sf lot in a Environmentally Sensitive Area, this contemporary craftsman house embraces the panoramic view from every room in the house.

The open floor plan defines places through columns and ceiling heights. Detailed with an eye on aesthetics and budget, the dramatic staircase is one example of a consistently simple and beautiful design throughout.
